Roberto De Zerbi will tell Albion they have nothing to fear in the Europa League.
He wants his in-form side to take the style and beliefs they have shown in the Premier League on to the continental stage.
The countdown continues to Thursday night’s Euro opener at home to AEK Athens, who were held 1-1 by Olympiacos in a derby on Sunday evening.
Albion won 3-1 at Manchester United and team selection will be intriguing.
De Zerbi said of the European challenge ahead: “I think it is not tougher.
“But we have to get used to be playing three games per week.
“I have to be smart to change the players and they have to be ready to play one game and then one game no.
“Keeping the style, keeping the DNA. This is the problem. I can change the team, 11 players per game, but the target is keeping our style, keeping our DNA, winning the game.
“Try to finish the group on top of the table.
“Play the next year in Europe, not only this year.”
AEK’s vastly experienced Croatia international centre-back Domagoj Vida picked up a knock against Olympiacos while last season’s top scorer Levi Garcia and attacking midfielder Mijat Gacinovic both missed the game. All three are being monitored.
