Jason Steele is relishing the chance to play in the Europa League – if and when selected.
The Albion goalkeeper returned to the XI in the win at Manchester United.
Now he and Bart Verbruggen wait to see who keeps goal against AEK Athens on Thursday.
Steele said: “I’m so looking forward to it.
“It’s something I’m proud of, to have come in at the end of last season and help the team qualify for Europe is amazing.
“Obviously I don’t know if I’m going to be playing on Thursday but, if I am, I’m sure it’s going to be an extremely proud moment for my parents.
“It’s not very often that happens.”
Solly March, with a minor muscular problem, and Pervis Estupinan were rested at Old Trafford while Evan Ferguson played just a few minutes after knee bruising.
Billy Gilmour also remained on the bench for most of the game.
AEK were in action in a derby against Olympiacos last night, drawing 1-1.
