Danny Welbeck says Albion believe they can beat anyone when on their game.
The striker set his side on course to a 3-1 success at Manchester United with his first-half strike.
They were the first away team to win at Old Trafford in the Premier League since their own 2-1 success there at the start of last season.
Welbeck said: “Every single game we go into we are coming to get the three points.
“That’s the mindset the gaffer instils in us right from the off.
“The confidence is there for the lads.
“We know if we get our game right there are not many teams that can try and match us.
“If we play a good game, we know we are definitely up for getting three points.”
Welbeck returned to the XI after missing the 3-1 win over Newcastle.
He told BBC Radio Sussex: “It was a slight groin issue but I felt good today.
“I am happy to be among the goals but the most important is to come here and get the three points.”
