Two goalscoring legends admired Evan Ferguson’s hat-trick performance at the Amex.
The Albion striker scored three and generally impressed as his side beat Newcastle 3-1.
Gary Lineker and Ian Wright both praised his efforts on BBC TV’s Match Of The Day.
Lineker said he could smell a goalscorer and said: “Eighteen years old, I think he could be a little special.”
He later added: “I don’t want to get carried away but I see a hint of Haaland about him Wright analysed Ferguson ion general play as well as his goals.
The former Arsenal and England goal-getter said: “He has got everything. Great movement, fantastic first touch, he takes up great positions.
“He is only going to get better.”
