There is also a start for Joao Pedro in the No.10 role in the absence of injured Julio Enciso and Danny Welbeck.
Joel Veltman and Jan Paul van Hecke both come into XI as the Seagulls aim to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat by West Ham.
James Milner and Adam Webster drop to a bench whch also includes Tariq Lamptey.
Bart Verbruggen continues between the sticks.
Carlos Baleba and Ansu Fati are not involved.
