Joao Pedro had a wonderful debut as he managed to convert from the penalty spot and link up with his team-mates throughout the game, writes Carlos Acosta Juckes.
He helped Albion beat Luton Town 4-1.
Within the first ten minutes, the Brazilian missed a glorious chance that would have put Albion in front early in the game.
However, he redeemed himself as he began to exceed in other aspects of the game.
In the 71st minute he forced a penalty as Tom Lockyer brought him down inside the box.
Once again, he showed great confidence and bravery as he took the penalty and scored.
More goals could have been added to his account.
But the Brazilian was formidable at dropping in to associate with his team-mates in order to create spaces for the wingers as well as for Welbeck.
His work ethic is impeccable, getting the ball off the Luton players on several occasions.
A great start to the season for Pedro who has made the fans fall in love with him already.
Pedro received the biggest standing ovation of the day as he was subbed in the 88th minute for Julio Enciso.
