Albion expect to be globetrotters again next summer.
The club will assess any positive and negative effects on the squad from their recent Premier League-financed trip to the USA as competitive action gets under way.
But they plan to travel again in 2024.
Japan is believed to be one of the more likely destinations for next summer.
Chief executive and deputy chairman Paul Barber said: “We need to reflect on what we’ve just done and make sure that all of the technical staff were happy.
“We were generally very happy with the preparations.
“Of course we want to see the season get under way and make sure there are no lasting effects that we haven’t yet seen.
“But Premier League football clubs conduct these tours every year in different parts of the world so we know that, if we get our own planning and organisation right, there’s no reason why they should have a detrimental impact on the players.
“We’ll make sure that we assess all of that before looking at next year.”
Barber said: “We’ve got our eye on a couple of opportunities for next year which, again, we’ll work on over the next few months.
“But certainly I don’t expect this year to have been our last major overseas tour.”
