Roberto De Zerbi says he is unsure when Moises Caicedo will return to training.
The midfielder missed Albion’s 1-1 friendly draw with Rayo Vallecano with hamstring tightness.
He remains a target for two bidders, including Chelsea.
Caicedo was not among the 21 players involved against LaLiga opponents.
Head coach De Zerbi said “Moises felt pain in the hamstring and I don’t know much time he needs to come in again.”
He added: “If Moises leaves, we will find another important player and if he stays I will be happy for the team, for the club. But it’s not my problem now.”
