Roberto De Zerbi has told Deniz Undav the door remains open for him at Albion.
The Seagulls boss has expressed mixed feelings at seeing his forward head out on loan.
Undav has joined Stuttgart in the Bundesliga for the coming season.
He scored against Chelsea in pre-season and enjoyed a productive end to the 2022-23 campaign.
Undav is under contract with Albion until June, 2026.
De Zerbi has spoken recently about his attacking options with Joao Pedro now on board to support and compete with Danny Welbeck and Evan Ferguson.
But he has made it clear he also values Undav’s presence.
Via Albion’s announcement of the loan deal, De Zerbi said: "It is with some regret we decided to let Deniz go and play.
“Last year he was crucial for us in achieving our goals, but he deserves that chance.
"We wish him well for the season with Stuttgart and we look forward to welcoming him back at the end of the season."
