Roberto De Zerbi says Igor would be a good fit for the Premier League.
Albion are reportedly close to bringing in the left-footed centre-back from Fiorentina.
Asked about a potential deal for the Brazilian, De Zerbi said: “Maybe you have more information than me but Igor is a good player.
“I think he has the right quality, the right characteristics to play in the Premier League because it is a different league, a different competition.
“He can be a right player for us to complete the squad and to be important for us.”
