UEFA have dismissed any concerns about Albion and Union St Gilloise both competing in the Europa League.
Europe’s governing body confirmed the clubs do not breach any rules on multi-club ownership.
Albion chairman Tony Bloom has reduced his ownership share in USG to a minority stake after Albion qualified for Europe.
The Belgian club reported they have made “certain changes” to their ownership structure.
In a statement, USG club president and owner Alex Muzio told fans: “The project that was launched back in 2018 to revitalise Union and make it a strong and sustainable force again in Belgian football remains as solid as ever.”
Albion have not made significant changes to their own set-up.
They remain a separate entity to USG and were always comfortable with their situation when it was revealed UEFA would look into the relationship with Union.
UEFA have also examined links between Aston Villa and Guimaraes and between Milan and Toulouse.
