Albion will not be hurried into any summer sales – as speculation over two prized assets continues.

The clubs are realistic that Moises Caicedo or Alexis Mac Allister, or both, might go over the coming weeks after stellar seasons.

However, The Argus understands there is no interest whatsoever in allowing top teen talent such as Julio Enciso and Evan Ferguson to move on.

Ferguson recently signed a long-term contract at the club while Enciso has exploded into the Premier League limelight over the later stages of the season.

Both are seen as key contributors for the coming campaign with plenty of scope for improvement.

The Argus were told last week there were no ongoing discussions with any club over Caicedo or Mac Allister and that Albion would love to keep both.

Use of the loan market will also come under consideration as the Seagulls’ top men plan the summer.

Albion are currently in the recruitment phase of their close-season and always like to get players on board before needed, a policy which will continue.

Enciso has won the Premier League goal of the season award.

His super strike at home to Manchester City has been selected as the best of nine short-listed.
