A non-league football club is aiming to smash its attendance record tonight in the first round of the play offs.
Whitehawk FC finished second in the Isthmian South East division after a blinding run under new manager Shaun Saunders, who took over at the end of the 2021-22 season.
It means the Hawks play at home at The Enclosed Ground tonight, taking on fourth place Beckenham Town, as they aim for promotion to the seventh tier of English football.
Some 683 fans turned out to see the last league game of the season on Saturday, setting a new home record for the year.

But club vice chairman Kevin Miller is hoping for 1,000 people to attend and beat the record.
“It’s great that we can get this far, Shaun has done a fantastic job and put together a team that works well and is a solid unit,” said Kevin.
“The atmosphere at the games has been fantastic recently and we’ve been getting great crowds recently, but we want more tonight.
“Come and enjoy the experience and support the Hawks.”
Tickets are £10, £5 for concessions, and are available on whitehawkfc.com.
