Albion fans enjoyed a day of mixed emotions after packing out Wembley for the FA Cup semi-final.
Supporters of all ages crammed into train carriages and tube stations on their way to the national stadium to cheer on Brighton against Manchester United.
Despite a party atmosphere before the match it was not meant to be for the Seagulls as heartbreak came in the form of a narrow penalty shootout defeat.
A sea of blue and white filled Brighton railway as people boarded trains to London with young fans cheering their team down Wembley Way.
In the fan zone in Boxpark in Wembley, Albion fans created an electric atmosphere as they drank and danced prior to kick off.
Many fans donned wigs, face paint and seagull masks in the fan zone and the good feelings continued into the stadium.

Unfortunately, Albion fans faced a devastating penalty shootout loss after two hours of nerve-wracking football.
Brighton dominated swathes of the 0-0 match but fell short after Manchester United converted all of their penalties.
The squad did their fans proud and were cheered off the pitch. Supporters can still look forward to the tail end of the season where the club will be fighting for European football.
