Pep Guardiola has given high praise to Albion going into the run-in, writes Anujith Vijayakumar.
In a press conference, Guardiola was told by a reporter that his side would inevitably close the six-point gap to league leaders, Arsenal due to their game in hand.
But Guardiola spoke about the difficulty of their delayed fixture at the Amex and brushed aside any predictions that a victory will be a “guarantee”.
Guardiola said: “There are no guarantee that we are going to win our games in hand.
“That is the best team in the world in making the build-up, the best team, is Brighton.
“There’s no team better that make the process to bring the keeper, the ball, to the last quarter.
"There’s no team better in modern football right now.”
The Seagulls and Roberto De Zerbi in particular have been lauded for their style of football by many experts across the sport.
