Albion have received another apology about an incorrect refereeing decision.
They are now seeking further clarification over other incidents in their 2-1 defeat by Tottenham.
Referees chief Howard Webb has contacted the club to confirm a penalty should have been awarded when Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg impeded Kaoru Mitoma in the second half.
The decision not to give a spot kick, either by referee Stuart Attwell or via VAR, was criticised by Alan Shearer and Danny Murphy on Match Of The Day, among others.
Albion also received an apology earlier this season when a goal by Pervis Estupinan was wrongly ruled out for offside.
The Mitoma penalty claim was one of several questionable incidents which appeared to go against the Seagulls at Tottenham.
They had two goals disallowed and had two other penalty claims waved away.
