A mural celebrating Albion’s heroes was defaced days after it was completed.
The giant mural in Farm Road, just off Western Road, Hove, was finished last Monday.
But on Thursday morning someone had used a marker to black out the teeth of two of the Seagulls’ men.
The vandal coloured in the teeth of Albion captain Lewis Dunk and right back Tariq Lamptey.
It is understood that the scribbling has already been fixed.
The mural, named “pride of the South Coast”, was commissioned by Albion fan group Dogma and completed by Brighton-based artist Sinna One.
It focuses on some of Brighton’s star players including long-serving captain Lewis Dunk, Hailsham-born Solly March, Spanish international Robert Sanchez, right back Tariq Lamptey and Albion's first Premier League goalscorer Pascal Gross.
The mural has been met with widespread praise for its depiction of some of Brighton’s star men. Albion are currently chasing European qualification
Another mural was finished on Friday last week in Kingsbury Street, Brighton.
It is the same site as the old mural of former captain Bruno.
