Alexis Mac Allister is on the shortlist for Premier League player of the month for March.

The contenders for the EA Sports award also include former Seagulls star Leandro Trossard, who has been shining as a goal creator for leaders Arsenal.

Mac Allister helped Albion to seven points in three games this month, scoring in two of them and assisting for a Joel Veltman goal.

Trossard did not score in March but had five assists and his side won four out of four in the league.

The shortlist also includes Bukayo Saka, Alexander Isak, Mo Salah and Tyrone Mings.

Solly March is arguably a surprise omission after a sparkling month which included crucial goals against Leeds and Crystal Palace.

Fans can vote via the EA SPORTS website until midday on Monday.

The public votes will be combined with those of a panel of football experts to decide the winner, who will be revealed next week.
