Gareth Southgate has hailed Albion’s style as unique in the Premier League.
But the parts played by Solly March and Lewis Dunk were not enough to earn places in the latest England squad.
Southgate has recognised both are playing “exceptionally well” and said all players are watched regularly.

He also underlined the competition facing March in wide areas as he named his group to face Italy and Ukraine over the coming fortnight.
Dunk’s absence remains a cause of frustration for Albion fans with Adam Lallana the latest to voice his support for the Seagulls skipper.
Southgate's reply to a question about the pair focused more on March.
The England boss said: “They are playing very well and their club are playing exceptionally well.
“I think the coach is doing an amazing job.
“He has got the team playing in a unique style in our league.
“They are having an outstanding season as a club.
“Solly we had with the under-21s with us so he is a player we know well.
“But, at the moment, I don’t see him ahead of Rashford, Grealish, Foden, Saka in those positions on the field.
“They are hard calls and we are always watching everybody.
“We are watching everybody regularly, live or on our system, during the week so there is not a game we miss.
“We know there are players who playing well for their clubs regularly.
“But I have got to pick the team and the squad which gives us the best chance of winning in two really big matches coming up.
“Experience is part of that. We are going to Naples to play Italy. They are a top side.
“It’s a different sort of environment.
“You have got to get the balance right of experience for these types of game as well.”
