Albion have been urged to chase their league and cup dreams – by a former Prem champion.
Leo Ulloa is hugely impressed by what he sees from his former club as they fly high in the table.
The Argentinean striker left the Seagulls in 2014 and went on to win the title with Leicester City in the biggest turn-up the Premier League has ever seen.
While not necessarily tipping Albion to follow suit to that extent, he believes cup success or a European place can be well within their sights.
Ulloa, who is based in Madrid, watched the 4-0 win over West Ham as a VIP guest at the Amex.
He said: “From what I lived through in Leicester, with a humble team, a team who had arrived from lower down and had been in the Championship and then won the title, played in the Champions League, I think Brighton are on a very good path.
“Dreaming costs nothing. You have to dream, you have to go for it and later you see if it comes off.
“But I think nothing is impossible. Anything can happen in football.
“Brighton are doing things very well and would deserve a reward, be it get into Europe or win a cup.”
In an interview with The Argus and at theargus.co.uk tomorrow, Ulloa speaks about his return to the Amex, about having to hang up his boots and his life after football, and he relives some great Albion memories - including goals at Leeds, who the Seagulls visit on Saturday.
