Moises Caicedo wants to help Albion into the top four after signing a new long-term deal.
The midfielder said it was an easy decision to agree terms which take him through until at least 2027.
And he believes it is not out of the question for the Seagulls to clinch a Champions League spot.
Caicedo concedes it will be tough to reach such heights but is determined to give it a go, buoyed by a superb performance from himself and his team against West Ham.
He told The Argus: “We are trying to get into the Champions League.
“That is the dream of all the team, to get to the highest point possible and bring happiness to the fans, who are always supporting us.
“That will be very difficult but we are very convinced we can do it all together, just as we are now.
“Keep it going until the end and we are sure we will do it.”
Caicedo’s new deal was revealed on Friday afternoon, a little more than a month after Albion turned down huge bids for his services from Arsenal.
He said: “I’m focused here on the club which opened the doors. I am very happy to be here and really pleased.
“It wasn’t a hard decision. If it had been a hard decision, I wouldn’t have signed!
“I’m happy with everything at the club – with my colleagues, everything and that’s why I signed now.”
Caicedo has featured in some light-hearted videos shot by the club's media team of late and says that united spirit is key to achieving on-field goals.
He said: "Unity is very important for a team. When we all commit to doing things well on the pitch, things go as we want and we can win matches.
"On the pitch and off it, we are always talking and we have a good relationship between everyone
"This is very good for the team.
"There is a very good atmosphere, especially the South Americans!
"We joke a lot but there is always good atmosphere in the club. There are all good people and that helps us keep growing and doing things well."
