Albion have been handed a home draw in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
They will host the League Two outfit, who won 2-1 at Southampton.
Gavan Holohan converted two penalties to fire the Mariners into the quarter-finals of the competition for the first time since the Second World War.
Grimsby are currently 16th in the fourth tier but they rank ninth for away form.
The tie will be played over the weekend of Saturday, March 18.
Draw: Manchester City v Burnley, Manchester United v Fulham, Brighton v Grimsby, Sheffield United v Blackburn.
