Moises Caicedo is on the bench for Albion as he returns to the matchday 20.
But there is a first Premier League start for Deniz Undav.
Billy Gilmour starts in midfield for only the second time in the Premier League and Undav will be asked to strike up an attacking partnership with Danny Welbeck.
The presence of both Tariq Lamptey and Joel Veltman in the XI suggests the Dutchman will be at centre-back alongside Lewis Dunk.
As expected, Facundo Buonanotte is on the bench.
Evan Ferguson, however, has not made the 20.
The Irish striker was due to be assessed today after suffering an injury against Liverpool last Sunday.
The formations have not been confirmed.
Bournemouth signings Hamed Traore, who played for Roberto De Zerbi at Sassuolo, and Antoine Semenyo both start.
Albion: Sanchez; Lamptey, Veltman, Dunk, Estupinan; Gross, Gilmour; March, Mitoma; Undav, Welbeck. Subs: Steele, Webster, Offiah, Van Hecke, Caicedo, Moran, Buonanotte, Sarmiento, Enciso.
Bournemouth: Neto; A Smith, Mepham, Senesi, Zemura; Outtara, Billing; Lerma, Anthony, Traore; Semenyo. Subs: Travers, Christie, Rothwell, Stacey, Vina, Moore, Pollock, Greenwood, Kinsey
