On-loan Albion man Reda Khadra has scored his first goal for Birmingham City – and it came against his old club.
The Germany under-21 international opened the scoring as Blues drew 2-2 at Blackburn in the FA Cup.
Khadra starred on loan with Rovers last season and spent the first half of the current campaign at Sheffield United.
Birmingham went in front in the third minute when Khadra profited from a loose pass, finding the net from 25-yards, though keeper Thomas Kaminski should have done better.
He almost embarrassed Kaminski again soon after when his ferocious shot squirmed through the goalkeeper’s legs but this time drifted wide.
Khadra is now under contract with Albion until the end of next season after recenyly agreeing an extension.
