Adam Webster has enjoyed some playing time with Albion under-21s.
The defender played the first 63 minutes in the Premier League 2 fixture at home to Everton.
Webster was an unused substitute in the Prem game at Leicester City yesterday as Jan Paul van Hecke got the nod in the absence of Levi Colwill.
Joel Veltman finished that game as right-sided centre-back after Tariq Lamptey went on as sub at right-back.
Webster was a vocal presence today with the youngsters, who led through Samy Chouchane’s early goal.
Everton levelled early in the second half and went on to secure a 2-1 win in the closing stages.
Webster went on as sub very late in the last senior home game, versus Liverpool.
Head coach Roberto De Zerbi said at the time: “I wanted to give the possibility to Adam Webster to restart the season.
“Webster is a really important player for us.”
Van Hecke had a generally sound full Prem debut at the King Power but was at fault when Leicester went ahead from a corner.
Colwill, on loan from Chelsea, has been ruled out by a muscular problem.
Reports from West London have suggested an absence of four weeks.
