Solly March has revealed Albion’s around-the-clock commitment.
But the in-form wideman has not had a 1am message from his head coach – yet.
March’s first senior brace led the Seagulls to a brilliant 3-0 win at home to Liverpool.
They have won four games out of five since Christmas, scoring 17 goals.
Head coach Roberto De Zerbi has them playing scintillating football and his players are being kept on their toes.
March revealed: “He is animated and I think his whole life is football.
“He sends some of the lads texts at 1am with clips and things they could do better.
“That’s the hard work he puts in and everybody enjoys playing for him.”
March’s run of outstanding performances – plus four goals in as many Prem games – mean he is not receiving any late-night messages from the boss.
He said: “Not yet. I don’t want to be woken up. My wife wouldn’t be happy!”
De Zerbi has challenged both March and Kaoru Mitoma to reach double figures in goals.
March revealed: “He said ‘how many goals can you get?’ and I think I said eight.
“I’ve just got to keep going and try and get in those positions.
“There’s no wager, it’s just a challenge.”
De Zerbi said: “With Mitoma more than ten goals, Solly more than ten goals, we can arrive in a high position in the table.”
