Albion have been handed a long-awaited home cup draw - and they will face top-tier opponents.
The Seagulls will host Liverpool, the current holders, or Wolves at the Amex in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
That ends a run of seven successive away draws in the two major cup competitions.
The tie will take place over the weekend of January 27-30.
Liverpool and Wolves drew 2-2 at Anfield last night with the visitors unfortunate to see a potential winning goal ruled out.
