The World Cup winner returned to the training ground after his exploits with Argentina.
Club staff staged their own ticker-tape trophy lift as staff cheered.
Mac Allister trained today and is keen to play against Everton tomorrow.
A decision will be made in the morning on his participation at Goodison Park, where he scored twice last season.
He joked the replica World Cup was somewhat ligjter than the one he held aloft in Qatar after Argentina beat France in the final.
