Roberto De Zerbi wants his World Cup winner to help make dreams come true with Albion.
Alexis Mac Allister has been given a two-week holiday after helping Argentina win the World Cup.
De Zerbi rates Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo among the best midfielders in Europe.
While recognising they will be among Seagulls stars courted by richer clubs, he is in no hurry to see them leave.
The Albion head coach said: “I hope the club can grow and I hope the next season we don’t lose many players.
“Moises Caicedo, Mac Allister, (Leandro) Trossard are playing very, very well now.
“But we are ready to find other players.
“Maybe not in January, maybe not in the next summer but in the future, Mac Allister, Moises, Trossard, (Kaoru) Mitoma, I think they are able to change level.
“Play in Champions League and other competitions. Europa League, Champions League.
“I hope together we are able to grow together with these players.
“To arrive to play in the Europa League.
“You can ask me if it is a dream? Yes, but you can’t work in football without having a big dream and I want to dream.”
Caicedo is the most likely of Albion’s Qatar octet to start tonight’s Carabao Cup fourth-round tie at Charlton Athletic (7.45pm)
