Albion could net close to £2 million in FIFA payments, thanks to their record-breaking World Cup.
An unprecedented eight current Seagulls players are set to take part in the tournament, which starts on Sunday.
That will more than double the number of players the clubs has sent to all previous tournaments combined.
FIFA payments for each player involved are $8,500 per day, from two weeks before the tournament.
It is calculated that would bring Albion about $1.9 million, based on an average stay of 28 days for the eight.
Alexis Mac Allister of Argentina and Leandro Trossard of Belgium are both expected to go a long way into the competition and could play key roles.
While not expected to start in goal, Robert Sanchez could also be set for a substantial stay in Qatar with Spain.
Clubs who have had World Cup players on their books in the last two years get a shar of the money.
Albion will receive compensation for players such as Maty Ryan and Ben White – but equally their payments for those they have brought in during that period will be affected.
Meanwhile, the club are providing employees with extra payments to help meet rising energy costs.
Staff are also being given up to five extra days off during the World Cup.
