Roberto De Zerbi is set to make his first team change since taking over as Albion head coach.
The Italian has revealed he will hand Adam Lallana what would be his first start since the 2-0 win at West Ham in August.
Whether there are any other alterations remains to be seen in the wake of the 2-0 defeat at Brentford.
But the option of bringing Kaoru Mitoma into the XI has been taken away by an ankle injury.
Ed Turns could again be the chief provider of central defensive cover off the bench.
Tariq Lamptey and Billy Gilmour could be in De Zerbi’s thoughts for a start.
The coach has appeared to allude at times to the possibility of Solly March playing at left-back.
In terms of of formation, he gave little away when asked whether it will be back four.
He said: “Dunk, Webster and Veltman are able to play as a three or in a back four.
“For each game we decide the strategy that can win the game.”
Forest will give wing-backs Serge Aurier and Renan Lodi time to be fit for the game. Aurier missed the defeat at Wolves with a muscle injury while Lodi has been absent for the last two games with a sprained ankle.
Lewis O’Brien is ill and Jack Colback (back) is struggling.
