Tariq Lamptey is looking forward to impressing his new Albion boss with some sparkling footwork on the pitch.
The right-back returned from international duty with Ghana to play a part in Roberto De Zerbi’s first game as Albion boss.

But it was down to serious work this week with Albion in their first full week under De Zerbi’s guidance.
After going on as a late substitute in the 3-3 draw at Anfield, Lamptey said: “It has been good.
“We had a short time working to get the instructions but he has made clear what he expects us to do.
“You could already see some of the ideas we have been trying to implement.
“We just have to keep working hard on the training pitch and get the results we have been getting Lamptey was passed fit for action after Ghana took the precaution of keeping him out of a game against Nicaragua due to a knock.
He had earlier made his senior international debut, coming off the bench against Brazil.
Lamptey told The Argus: “I enjoyed my first camp there. It was a good group and everyone was really welcoming.
“I knew a few of the boys before but everyone I didn’t, I got to know well and it’s a really good group.
“The dancing was a nice bit of fun.
“Just give the boys something to be happy and laugh about.
“It was just the tradition we have to do and we took it our stride.
“I’m glad we put a few smiles on people’s faces.”
Albion players were anticipating an intense week of work as they prepare to host Tottenham on Saturday.
