Leandro Trossard hopes Albion keep serving up chances after his Anfield hat-trick.
The Belgium international scored the club’s first treble of the Premier League era to secure a 3-3 draw at Liverpool.
It was a spectacular way to start life under new head coach Roberto De Zerbi.
The Italian challenged Trossard to score more goals as they spoke recently.
Trossard revealed: “He said he was happy with me and how I played but he wanted even more goals from me.
“I said, ‘If you get me the chances, I will score them!’.
“I’ve had three days with him but you can see how he wants to play.
“He demands a lot from us. You can see how passionate he is.
“I think a typically Italian coach and, to be fair, I love it.”
Trossard’s haul was his best in a league game since his hat-trick for Genk against Cercle Bruges in September, 2018 But he hit three against Espanyol in pre-season and is already on to five for the current Prem campaign.
He said: “I think I’m getting more chances at the moment.
“I know in front of goal I can finish.
“If you are in a team and you get three or four chances in a game, it is easier to score one than if you only get one chance in a game.
“We get so many chances at the moment. I am really happy with that and especially with the team and how we are playing.”
