Gary Hart has praised the goal threat which has helped make Albion officially League One's comeback kings.

The Seagulls have the best record in the division when it comes to picking up points after going 1-0 down. They have now amassed five wins and four draws after conceding first but will hope a similar recovery is not needed as they go to Nottingham Forest tomorrow.

Hart, recalled for the come-from behind 2-1 defeat of Swindon on Saturday, said: "It's down to a belief we can score.

"The gaffer drums that into us all the time. If we go 1-0 down we haven't lost the game.

"We create so many chances. You saw it in the first half (on Saturday). With Fozzy (Nicky Forster) and (Glenn) Murray up front, eventually you're going to score."

Last season's games against Forest both ended in 2-1 home wins after the away side scored first.

Colin Calderwood's men were the last away side to win at Withdean but Albion have taken 24 points from 30 at home since then.

Hart believes the Seagulls have a great chance of finishing in the top six. He said: "If we miss out on the play-offs it will be our own fault. We've got the ability, we've got the passion and, even though it's a small squad, we'll give it a go.

"I've been there before, I would like to be involved."
