Albion hope to add at least one more loan signing to their play-off chasing squad for Saturday's home game against Swindon.
Right-back Andrew Whing begins a two-match ban against the Robins and left-back Matt Richards suffered a hamstring injury in the 1-0 win against second-placed Doncaster at Withdean.
Assistant manager Dean White said today: "If possible we will try to get someone in for the weekend."
Albion are unsure how long Richards will be out until they receive the results of a scan today on his injury.
Kerry Mayo will deputise again for the on-loan Ipswich defender in an unchanged line-up at Huddersfield on Tuesday night.
Victory will lift Albion into a play-off place and they will go fifth if they win by two clear goals.
