Dean Cox starts for Albion at Walsall tonight.
The midfielder, left out of the last two games for disciplinary reasons, comes back as one of two changes from the team which started the defeat at Carlisle.
Joel Lynch also comes into the side with David Martot and Tommy Fraser dropping to the bench.
The changes are likely to mean El-Abd moving into midfield.
Walsall start with the XI who lost 2-0 at home to an Adebayo Akinfenwa-inspired Northampton on Saturday.
