FOREST boss Steve Cooper has hinted that the club are close to signing Albion striker Neal Maupay.
The striker is believed to be negotiating personal terms with the east Midlands-based club ahead of a reported £15million transfer to the club.
Nottingham Forest have been very active in the transfer market having signed 15 players, and are set to confirm the signing of Wolves midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White.
The English midfielder is undergoing his medical after the clubs agreed on a £44.5m deal. Cooper now wants the club to seal other transfers, which could include Maupay moving to the City Ground.
In his press conference today, he said: "Certainly some areas that we want to strengthen in all of the lines throughout pitch, but it is getting the right player and character that fits into our way of working.
"That is what we are committed to doing.
"We feel like we are down the line on a few things, and hopefully, we can finish the process off of getting them through the door."
