ALBION have confirmed that men’s under-21s defender Ben Jackson has signed a new contract that runs until June 2024.
The centre-back has been a regular for the under-18s side since he made the move from Watford in 2020.
Jackson even made his Premier League 2 debut in a 1-1 draw with Arsenal in January earlier this year.
Upon signing his new deal, Jackson said: “I am really happy to have extended my contract.
“I feel like I am progressing really well and have enjoyed my two years here so far a lot.
“The facilities and the coaching here has been brilliant, which I think is helped by the amount of academy players who get the chance to train with the first team.
“Then there’s the opportunity for the boys who work really hard to make their senior debut.”
The 18-year-old made 15 Premier League South appearances last season and captained the under-18s regularly, as they finished eighth.
