Graham Potter is delighted to see Leandro Trossard having a ball going into the new season.
The Albion star scored a superb 14-minute hat-trick in the 5-1 pre-season win over Espanyol.
He used a left-sided role to take centre stage following headed goals by Adam Webster and Lewis Dunk.
Trossard ended last season on a high, including vital goals in wins at Arsenal and Tottenham.
Albion boss Potter said: “He has got the qualities, we all know that.
“I think he likes that role off the left.
“It means that he can play centrally from there, and he can obviously come on his right side and score.
“So it looks like he is enjoying his football.
“He finished off the season really well and we’re excited to see him start it again.”
