Reda Khadra could be the next Albion player on the move.

The German wideman was last night expected to sign for Sheffield United following a successful medical.

It would appear to be a loan deal and follows his impressive stint with Blackburn Rovers last season.

A source in Sheffield believes Khadra and those close to him have been impressed by the set-up at Bramall Lane and the ambition shown by Blades.

He was understood to have attracted plenty of interest, be it for a loan or something more permanent, in the Championship and Europe.

Khadra has not played in Albion's pre-season friendlies as his future is sorted.

Sheffield United do not start their season until Monday, when they visit Watford live on Sky Sports.
