Albion fans made their feeling for Marc Cucurella clear as he started their latest pre-season fixture.

The left-sided defender is subject of interest from Manchester City, who saw a £30 million bid rejected.

Cucurella played on the left of a back three in the 2-1 win at Reading.

Fans sang their song in his honour briefly as the squad wet over to the away corner during their main warm-up.

A louder chorus followed right on kick-off.

They then sang: “Marc Cucurella, we want you to stay.”

Cucurella turned in a typically enthusiastic performance before going off after 70 minutes as one of nine substitutions made at that point.
