Deniz Undav says he plans to bring “goals, fun and good moments” to Albion.
The German striker played against his old Union St-Gilloise team-mates in the second half of Saturday’s friendly.
He was not hugely impressed by his own performance but said it is far too early to be worrying about that.
Undav said: “I hope I will adapt well. Now it’s trying to adapt to my team-mates, how they play, to the intensity and that’s the goal for me.
“In Belgium it’s a different level to the Premier League so it’s all about adapting.”
Asked what he can bring to Albion, he said: "A lot of goals, fun and good moments!"
Undav was not too concerned about what he felt was an ordinary display from him.
He said: “Not good, to be honest. I didn’t get enough balls and sometimes I lost the ball easily.
“But in my head the first thing was to see how my team-mates are so it wasn’t so important to play now the best game of my life, just to figure out where I can fit and to see, if I have the ball, when I have to keep it, play it fast or get in the box.”
