EX LEWES womens interim coach Craig Gill believes the club will be a force to be "reckoned with" next season.
Gill took over the club in October last year and led them to 8th in the FA WSL 2 and won the final game of the season 1-0 against Liverpool at The Dripping Pan.
He left the club once the season ended and has since been replaced by former Birmingham City manager Scott Booth ahead of the next campaign.
The former boss reckons that the club will go on to impress next season and has also admitted that he thoroughly enjoyed his time at the Lewes.
Gill told The Argus: "If the players can match their great application with the high standards that we have seen day-to-day and give strong match-by-match performances consistently next season, they will definitely be a force to be reckoned with.
"They are great people in a very nice town and a club with huge potential, which is a very similar situation to the one that I have thoroughly enjoyed here at Lewes FC.
"Everyone at the club has been totally supportive of what I’ve tried to do with the squad throughout my tenure, from the board of directors, Maggie Murphy (chief executive), Kelly Lindsey (head of performance), Lynne Burrell (general manager), the first team Performance Staff, and of course, to the supporters, who have been second to none."
