Albion are ready to hold on to ALL of their prized assets this summer – unless an irresistible offer comes along.
The Seagulls are looking to next season after their record-breaking ninth-placed finish of 2021-22.
Early preparations include a new long-term deal for chief executive and deputy chairman Paul Barber as he moves into his second decade at the club.
Barber’s goals will include maintaining a top-ten placing for the Seagulls in the Premier League.
The club are expecting a summer of speculation regarding some of their prized assets.
Marc Cucurella, Yves Bissouma and Robert Sanchez have already been linked with clubs at home and abroad.
Such star performers are certain to have attracted interest.
Albion take that as a compliment but there have been no bids as yet for any of their players.
Nor, The Argus understands, has there been significant contact at this early stage with any other club about the men who took the Seagulls into the top half.
Head coach Graham Potter has made it clear he is ready to cope with losing a player at the right time and right price.
But the message remains that Albion do not need to sell anyone and are looking forward to next season.

Potter and his staff will take a close look at attacking duo Deniz Undav and Kaoru Mitoma as they come in from Union St Gilloise.
Abdallah Sima, Reda Khadra, Jean Paul van Hecke and Matt Clarke are also among those who will come under scrutiny. But there will also be outgoings.
