Albion’s record-breaking stars have been told to get their minds off football - and enjoy some family time.
Players not involved in international squads started their holidays on leaving the Amex on Sunday after a win over West Ham which left their club in a best-ever ninth place.
Others have only a brief break for now before joining up with international colleagues.
Robert Sanchez, for example, will link up with Spain on Monday to prepare for UEFA Nations League fixtures.
And Alexis Mac Allister has already been hard at work in a camp with Argentina at Athletic Bilbao’s training complex.
Albion boss Graham Potter said: “They need a minimum of three weeks.
“It’s not just physically. Psychologically they need to get away from the training ground, away from thinking about the next match – the demands, the scrutiny, all that sort of thing.
“It’s important for them to spend it with their families, have a different perspective and gain some enthusiasm and freshness for the season ahead.
The level of the athlete we have, it’s not like the old days where you might worry about the condition they come back in.
“It’s more just a break with their families, to have some time on the beach or with their kids.”
Albion are due back at work on or around June 27 ahead of a season which kicks off on the first weekend of August.
Potter said: “The internationals will come back a little bit later and then into pre-season.
“We’ve got a week away planned.
“A six-week period of pre-season training before the next game so it comes around very quickly.”
Prem fixtures for next season will be released at 9am on Thursday, June 16.
