How Albion players rated as individuals from the ultimate team performance as they outclassed Manchester United.

ROBERT SANCHEZ 9/10

Perhaps strange that a keeper scores so highly after a dominant display but he does more than keep shots out. Distribution was superb, especially on the third goal. Took high balls with authority and also made three notable saves.

JOEL VELTMAN 9/10

Was hard but fair In challenges on Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes, the first of them denying the former when he might have been in on goal.

LEWIS DUNK 9/10

Barely allowed Ronaldo a sniff of a chance in another commanding display at the back.

MARC CUCURELLA 10/10

The one thing he wanted to add was duly added with a first Prem goal, fired unerringly into the top corner. A constantly good outlet going forward and part of another clean sheet too.

SOLLY MARCH 9/10

The first half in particular might well have been his finest 45 minutes for the club. Oozed confidence and quality as he combined intelligently with Gross.

The Argus:

MOISES CAICEDO 9/10

Stretched his left leg and let fly with his right for a first Prem goal amid another hugely effective midfield display. Keeps the ball moving.

YVES BISSOUMA 8/10

A classic Bissouma display, winning and keeping the ball and moving it on as others around him dazzled.

The Argus:

PASCAL GROSS 10/10

A brilliantly taken first goal of the season to round off maybe his finest display for the club. Involved in so much of a creative nature and always looked to have both time and clear pictures in his head of what he could make happen. An artist at work and it was a joy to watch.

LEANDRO TROSSARD 9/10

Hit the woodwork three times in this fixture last season, had three direct goal involvements this time. Big parts in the second and third before following up to bundle in the fourth. Always a threat.

ALEXIS MAC ALLISTER 9/10

Superb work in the run-up to the second and fourth goals and almost had one himself as he did an effective job in an advanced role.

DANNY WELBECK 8/10

Again led the attack expertly and brought others into play. Should have lobbed his side into a 2-0 lead in the first half but did well on the final goal.

SUBS – ADAM WEBSTER 7/10

Played the final quarter on the left of the three as Albion completed their clean sheet.

TARIQ LAMPTEY N/A

Raided on the right on final stages.

NEAL MAUPAY N/A

A brief outing.
