Albion turned on the style at Molineux and the fans loved it.

We asked these supporters what they thought of the display as Wolves were swept aside 3-0.

Then we asked for some individual accolades - for the Wolves game and the season as a whole.

What did you make of Albion’s display at Wolves?

James Heasman: This was a near perfect display for 90 minutes. Every player looked comfortable on the ball, and always had options - Brighton made Wolves look incredibly ordinary. This was not a poor Wolves performance, this was an exceptional Brighton one. Let’s hope it continues against Man Utd.

Vicki Rees: Composed, controlled and dynamic from start to end. Granted, Wolves looked hopeless, but so did Norwich and we didn’t finish them off, so it was hugely satisfying to see us dominate a game and get the rewards.

Tim Ayling: Another fantastic away performance. We really seem to have stepped up a notch in recent weeks, with big players coming back into form. Strong at the back, great on the ball, and now clinical.

Colin Beales: There was only one team that looked up for this game. Brighton were brilliant, controlled the midfield and added the vital end product. Some of our play was jaw dropping. A cracking awayday!

Who was your pick of the Albion players?

James Heasman: Very difficult as everyone played their role. Cucurella was near perfect throughout. Caicedo is so good, breaking up play and using the ball progressively, but, I’m going to go with Alexis MacAllister, because as as well as playing well, he showed great courage in taking the second penalty.

Vicki Rees: They were all at least seven-out-of-ten, except probably Sanchez, who got to put his feet up for the afternoon. Caicedo was exciting again, Bissouma controlled the midfield, Trossard and March both caused Wolves problems, but Cucurella was my MoM.

Tim Ayling: Very hard to pick an individual, as to a man they were excellent. The midfield three of Bissouma, Caicedo and Mwepu have given us a new dimension. Bissouma and Cucurella were the pick for me, but really they were all excellent.

Colin Beales: Mwepu, Bissouma and Caicedo bossed the midfield, but I’ll pick out Caicedo from that list. In such a short time he’s showing us what an exceptional talent we have on our hands.

Who would be your selection as Albion’s player of the 2021-22 season?

James Heasman: For the first half of the season, Trossard was outstanding as was Webster. Veltman has played to a high level of consistency throughout, but Marc Cucurella would get my vote. He has proved to be an excellent signing and is very intelligent, taking up great positions, covering team-mates and generally keeping possession.

Vicki Rees: I can’t look beyond Cucurella. A total win for the Albion’s recruitment team, and a brilliant new addition to the Brighton & Hove branch of the Iconic Spanish Full Backs Society.

Tim Ayling: I have already voted for Cucurella. Every week he’s an eight out of ten, even in the poor run that feels like a distant memory. What a signing he has been! He has also got the greatest hair in the team, which some would argue is reason enough.

Colin Beales: This was an easy decision for me this year. Cucurella takes this by a country mile. A consistent top performer throughout the season. A brilliant signing that has really added an edge to our game.
