Jeremy Sarmiento suffered another injury setback as he was given a run out by Albion tonight.
The Ecuador international started for the under-23s against Chelsea at the Amex.
But he limped off just a minute into the second half.
Sarmiento suddenly pulled up when chasing back in defence.
He appeared to know his game was up and reached for the back of his left thigh at one point.
Sarmiento missed much of the season with a hamstring injury suffered at West Ham.
He has since been limited to brief appearances off the bench for the senior side.
Albion went down 2-1, despite creating some good chances.
