Neal Maupay is back in great heart as he aims for a repeat performance at the Emirates.

Albion’s top scorer was a dejected figure as he was applauded off after missing several chances, including a penalty, at home to Norwich last week.

He scored winning goals home and away against Arsenal two seasons ago, including a decisive header in north London.

Albion visit the Gunners in Premier League action tomorrow (3pm).

Head coach Graham Potter said: “He has been fine this week, really good.

“I think it’s probably the biggest change in him in terms of how he deals with disappointments and setbacks, because for him the weekend would have been a setback personally as he takes responsibility for not having the penalty and maybe not scoring which is his type of character.

“I think the reason why the supporters were so good to him was they recognise how much effort he puts in for the team and doing his best for Brighton.

“He has had some fantastic moments they all remember - Crystal Palace away, West Ham away, Southampton away.

“And sometimes you have to remember that and support a guy when he is not having his best day.

“Neal has grown up as a person so he can deal with those setbacks a lot better.

GRAHAM POTTER'S INJURY UPDATE FOR ARSENAL V BRIGHTON

"Credit to him, probably the biggest transformation I have seen as a player in terms of how he has dealt with that in my career.”

Maupay missed last season's 2-0 defeat at Arsenal due to suspension.
