Graham Potter has thanked Albion fans for their backing of Neal Maupay.
The striker missed a penalty and two other very presentable chances as the Seagulls were held 0-0 by Norwich.
Fans sang his name as he made his way to the technical area after being substituted.
Albion boss Potter said: “You can imagine he is disappointed, like the rest of us.
“It wasn’t his day. It happens. That’s life.
“I thought the reaction of the supporters was fantastic, really good, and a huge thank you to them for that.
